A conversation with Jyce, a dancer, thinker and artist and Jersey City native. Jyce has been steeped in Jersey City's local, multi-generational house and hip hop cultures since grade school, as a dancer, event producer, social connector, DJ, and an archivist of the scene. He and Larissa Belcic sat down to talk about these underground cultures as an emergent ground - forged by the city's Black and Latino communities as an alternative geography and transformative force to the structures of disenfranchisement that compose the New York City metro area.
